History

Founded in 1903, the club is over 100 years old. A lot of the Irish golfing history was made in Kenmare.

The clubhouse and the course reflect the history and pedigree of the club. Age brings a certain charm and Kenmare Golf Club has this wonderful charm and atmosphere in abundance.

The Irish name for Kenmare is "An Neidin" which translates as the "little Nest", Due to the towns picturesque location between the mountains of Kerry in a valley formed during the ice age.
